Jose Hernandez, Purchasing Manager / IT Manager

Jose Hernandez began working with National Concrete Preservation (NCP) in 2008 as Purchasing Agent and Director of IT.
As IT Director, Mr. Hernandez's role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. He plans, coordinates, directs, and designs IT-related activities of the organization.
Mr. Hernandez works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. As IT Director he also defines and implements IT policies, procedures and best practices. Additionally, he provides administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of IT issues.
Serving as the Purchasing Agent for NCP, Mr. Hernandez is responsible for purchasing all materials for the company. He evaluates and approves vendors and authorizes purchase orders for goods and services.
He began his career at Systematic Computer Products as a Software Installer and worked his way up to Field Service Engineer. From 1992 until 2007, Mr. Hernandez owned and operated JSH Computers. Simultaneously he worked as the Project Manager for Ideal Construction Solutions, Inc. and was an integral part of the team that was instrumental in the re-opening of Castle Beach in Miami Beach, Florida. He holds certifications from OSHA 30 Hour Certificate, is A+ certified (qualified to work on all computer hardware) and holds a Safety Certificate on Scissor Lifts.

National Concrete educates all its employees in safety,
quality workmanship and the latest techniques in the
construction industry in accordance with our member
organizations. We use only OSHA approved and
maintained equipment. All of our foreman and supervisors
have completed a 30-hour OSHA safety certification
program and all laborers have completed a 10-hour OSHA
safety certification program.
